An Action Packed Day Not To Be Missed!

Departing at 8:30am we take a scenic drive to Standley Chasm for morning tea. We then head on to Ormiston Gorge, where we take a small hike to view this spectacular landscape, followed by a barbeque at the Mount Sonder lookout with spectacular views of the ancient Finke River floodway as well as the largest peak in the ranges.

After lunch we drive to a jump up on Tylers Pass to view Tnorala (Gosse Bluff), one of the worlds biggest Asteroid craters where we learn about the Geology and the Aboriginal stories from the Dreamtime which are surprisingly similar!

On the way back towards Alice Springs we visit the Ochre Pits, Elery Creek Big Hole, a stunning natural water hole where you can swim if warm enough, and two of the Range’s most popular and stunning locations.

Returning you to your accommodation in the late afternoon, the duration of this tour is approximately 9 hours.
